it’s all hearsay, twisted truths

Yes the time has arrived. In a few hours is the hearing I have been waiting for at family court… Or dreading for so long. Its been 7 months since my daughter has been gone, everything I remember about her will be someone who no longer exists. I have seen a few photos of her over the months and can say she has grown up a lot. Still as beautiful, but not so young.

It has been quite a while since I posted, so for those who ever come across this blog, this tribulation called my life, here is an update.

Originally I was told the Domestic Violence Group (The Bridge Project) I had been requested to go on by Cafcass told my wife I had threatened to kill my daughter. This was complete nonsense and as such I requested a copy of the video (as the whole session was taped).

A letter was received back in December from Solicitors representing The Bridge Project stating we couldn’t have the video. Although if we was willing to pay £250 I could have a full report.

I then requested an anonymised version of the video and / or transcript of the session in question. Along with a statement from the person who notified my wife of these said allegations.

Well we received another letter from The Bridge Project about a month later stating we could not have a copy or a transcript because the video had been deleted back in November. Oh and also the person who apparently told my wife of theses allegations no longer worked for them. Therefore it would not be possible to get any statement.

Nothing really changed for months, apart from my wife and her solicitor wasting time and getting court dates put further and further back. The non-molestation order I willingly agreed to has now run out and although I could go and find my wife, my daughter and play with her as there is nothing stopping me. I have been advised not to as my wife would probably throw up more allegations.

Now comes the exciting parts; a week before our court date my solicitor received yet another letter from the Domestic Violence Group (The Bridge Project)’s solicitors. This letter completely turned things around. They were now stating it was in fact my wife who originally contacted them and told them I tried to kill my daughter. Due to this they helped her into a refuge and I was contacted to go on a course. During the session what my wife had told them came up but on no occasions did they ever make any allegations towards me!

So today, all the cross examinations will go on and hopefully the judge will see it’s all hearsay, twisted truths and as well as my wife having stopped my 10 year old son from seeing his sister right through to my daughters great grandmother. Surely this alone should spark alarm bells ringing.

All I can do is pray the Lord is standing by me.
…And whatever the outcome, I will still love my wife with all my heart.
